I have worked for the United Nations since 2000 in the area of procurement and contract management functions. Before joining the United Nations, I worked in the private sector.
I worked respectively with MONUSCO (2000-2006), UNICEF (2006-2010), UNMIL in Liberia where I worked for 8 years (2010-2018) until the closure of the mission in June 2018. I was part of the mission liquidation team during the closure of the United Nations Mission in Liberia. Subsequently, I joined UNAMA, the United Nations Mission in Afghanistan (2018-2019) as procurement officer. In the absence of the section chief, I have acted several times as officer in charge for the Procurement section.
I hold a university degree in Business Administration, and have 19 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, supply chain management in the UN field missions.
I am loyal, hardworking, professional and conscientious, and have knowledge of contract procedure, have expertise in handling complex contract issues and have experience in managing, coordinating, supervising or leading a team of national and international staff.
I have the ability to apply my technical expertise to resolve procurement issues with internal and external clients such as requisitioning units and vendors. I have experience in public sector procurement, in conducting international tender exercises to award contracts for procurement of complex goods and services related to Engineering and Transport , I have good knowledge of procurement process and procedures in support of field operation.
I hold a university degree in business and administration.
