- Supervise the preventive, corrective, troubleshooting, shutdown, major and minor maintenance activities, on various types of instrumentation;
- Supervise a team of technicians carrying out basic instrumentation maintenance activities according to plan in order to assure the maximum equipment availability and precision respecting all internal maintenance procedures and best-practices and all the safety regulations and procedures;

Key Duties and responsabilities / Activités clés et responsabilités

- Receive assigned maintenance schedule and request for spares needed to effect repairs from stores;
- Execute routine check-ups of instrumentation equipment according to maintenance schedule plan, workload, manpower availability and company procedures;
- Coordinate the testing, repairing, calibration and troubleshooting of the Instrumentation Control systems;
- Allocate work orders and supervise instrumentation technicians in the execution of activities ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines;
- Evaluate the manpower requirement for daily preventive, break down and shutdown maintenance and prepare the job schedule;
- Monitor the work order status for obstacles, and to re-schedule the task if required;
- Endorse work feedback and close out work orders in the maintenance database;
- Liaise with Mechanical and Electrical sections and establish a seamless integration between operation and maintenance teams;
- Prepare and review various maintenance performance reports such as Preliminary Failure and Root Cause Analysis Reports;
- Enforce standards, accident prevention, occupational health and safe work procedures for the plant and ensure regulations relating to the electrical maintenance unit are met at all times;
- Set up KPIs for his subrdinates and oversee technical staffs in the performance of their duties, providing expertise as required;
- Ensure that technicians and trainees are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to ensure that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner;
- Evaluate the training requirements of his subordinates and discuss/ agree training needs with the HAM amp; Admin Department;
- Implement approved HSE/IMS policies and procedures for team maintenance safety;
- Enforce accident prevention and occupational health work procedures and regulations;
- Ensure each shift meets documentation, reporting, and, follow up requirements as specified in the Hamp;S program;
- Perform any other duties assigned by the section heads, (Operations amp; Maintenance);
QSE Responsibilities
- Know and fully apply DCC's API, IMS, HSSE requirements, policies, procedures.
- Take care of his own health and safety in the workplace and ensure that acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other people.
- Take appropriate measures to minimize risks to quality, health and the environment.
- Communicate any case of hazardous situation to the Top management or QSE representative.
- Engage in the QHSE system by organizing/participating to all mandatory training and awareness
- Propose and carry out improvement, corrective and/or preventive actions.
