We are looking for an experienced Bakery Manager who will be managing our bakery production operations, organizing production schedules, raw materials requisitions, and team management among others, ensuring that production targets are met consistently.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and order according to work plan and standards to deliver production targets on time without compromising quality
- Ensure all new department team members receive proper training and supervision and will ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise.
- Supervise quality, health and safety during operations and ensure all team members follow and abide by established quality and health and safety protocols
- Monitor production levels and ensure orders are fulfilled, ensure emergency orders can be accommodated
- Monitor inventory and minimize wastage if not eliminated
- Ensure smooth operations by ensuring balanced staffing schedule/ rotations, regular equipment maintenance, etc.
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you must have/ be:
- Diploma in Food and Beverage Service Management, Food Production, Catering or related field
- 5 years of experience in the catering service industry, preferably in a mass bakery production facility
- Good MS Office skills for reporting, presenting reports
- Very good English communication, French language knowledge a plus
- Food Safety Training, ideally Level 2
- HACCP knowledge, FSMS knowledge
