Job Summary / Mission

• To provide efficient and effective assistance in the management of DCC Health, Safety amp; Environmental (HSE) initiatives, programs, procedures, trainings, work practices and controls to be implemented and monitored for effectiveness and continual improvement for regulatory compliance amp; DCC and group HSE standards.

Key duties and responsibilities

English

• Ensuring that rules, safety instructions are posted at the appropriate areas and regulations are enforced by users
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment or site work permit), safety hazards and takes necessary action to ensure compliance.
• Participate in incident investigation and preparation of formal reports on findings including recommendations to Head HSE.
• Participate in HSE meetings and deliver trainings as required.
• Develop daily reports on inspections, unsafe acts, conditions or near miss.
• Carry out daily topics within your area of responsibilities.
• To inspect daily work permits and ensure proper adherence to procedure.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and to follow up any updates.
• To track and ensure reporting of HSE non-conformances and follow up for correction.
• To actively participate in the planning and execution of emergency evacuation drills.
• Assist the Head of HSSE in identifying needs and preparing risk assessments,
• Assist in the development of compliance and training programs
• Ensure staff training, in particular with regard to risk assessments of machinery, manual handling, working at heights and display screen equipment.
• Participate in actions to raise the awareness of DCC personnel.
• Assist in the implementation of security policies and procedures
• Alerts employees to changes in policy or procedures and monitors compliance
• Provide administrative support to the Health and Safety Committee and the Safety Officer Forum.
• Assist in conducting health and safety audits, producing audit reports and following up on any actions.
• Review and record first aid, response, inspection on DCC premises.
• Ensuring HSE reporting using judiciously chosen indicators
• Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.
• Propose and implement HSE corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in detailed incident investigations and root cause analysis, identifying trends, proposing improvement plans and ensuring implementation
• Contribute to the overall performance of the service by executing its target objectives.
• Conduct its performance evaluation (PMS Evaluation Mi and end course).
• Attend training to build skills
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head, HSSE

• Assister le responsable HSSE dans l'identification des besoins et la préparation des évaluations des risques,
• Aider à l'élaboration de programmes
