Job Summary /Mission

English

  • Actively and successfully manage the end-to-end sales process; sourcing new customers, scoping customer requirements
  • Provide knowledge support on Dangote products and technical assistance on their use to all Customers and prospects including but not limited to Corporates (BTP.), Exports clients, Distributors, Retailers etc. and liaising with the Quality Control amp; Assurance departments to ensure consistency in the quality of products

  • Reinforce the DCC brand and company ethos at all times
  • Prospect for new business customers; some leads will be provided by the marketing department; some will need to be self-generated
  • Serve as the primary customer contact point for technical issues for corporate clients.
  • Communicate with various clients (construction companies/ developers/ architects/ authorities and owners), understand their needs and requirement in the segment and proffer advice on the appropriate use of products.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
  • Handle customer queries on product use, appropriate mix etc of Dangote Cement for construction
  • Provide pre-sales demonstrations and product education, and after-sales support services
  • Develop and implement customer and prospect loyalty programs for Dangote brand and products.
  • Develop and implement programs to strengthen the knowledge and technical capabilities of customers and prospects on Dangote products (seminars, site visits, factory visits, demo presentations, etc.).
  • Develop tutorial modules for presentations and demonstrations of Dangote products for the use of sales Teams.
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Keep up knowledge of system changes and industry development to include government initiatives
  • Periodically provide accurate, detailed and timely information regarding all prospects and sales activities to the Director through the Key account manager
  • Accompany and assist sales representatives in their prospecting, negotiations and sales processes.
  • Manage a number of key customer accounts and referrals
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times and through every stage of the customer journey
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the service by executing the targets set for it.
  • Conduct its performance evaluation (PMS Evaluation Mi and end course).
  • Attend training to build skills.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Key Account Manager
