- Oversee and coordinate implementation of projects of alternative fuels usage with suitable projects along with co-process of existing clinker manufacturing system to reduce fossil fuel Coal consumption as per Management yearly budget requirement in order to generate optimal revenue for DCC.
- Ensure production at optimal plant capacity at all times, meeting all management yearly budget targets.
- Provide relevant information to CCR operators, engineers , and Managers of all departments in the production line based on monitored operations in liaison with plant director
- Operational amp; Functional • Ensure all alternative fuels suppliers’ availability with logistics amp; pricing for budget amp; required technical projects. • Ensure with HQ technical division for establishing suitable alternative fuels projects with approvals , procurement amp; projects making with required support from other concern departments • Ensure making monthly AF reports updated as amp; when required by HQ • Taking lead in implementing all AF projects making , commissioning as per management targets amp; to make successful usage of all alternative fuels along with DCC’s approved production plan with relevant periodical reports • Monitor and control all sections of the plant AF process lines to ensure stable equipment operation, employee safety and compliance with prescribed standards and environmental regulations. • Log in data with all production and environmental technical reports as required by Management with regular updates at specified intervals; document and report operational activities accordingly. • Ensure smooth preparation of all management presentations as per requirement. • Inform Patrollers, Attendants and Operators for failures, potential failures or trouble spots and provide direction for problem solving. • Continuously review physical stocks in coordinating with process engineers in order to ensure accuracy of all weighing AF systems and updating all production reports along with the plant MIS automation system with follow up of Instrumentation department concern and make recommendations for improvement based on leading practices. • Implement approved HSE/QSE policies and procedures for production safety. • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Plant director. QSE Responsibilities • Know and fully apply DCC's QHSE requirements, policies, procedures. • Take care of his own health and safety in the workplace and ensure that acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other people. • Take appropriate measures to minimize risks to quality, health and the environment. • Communicate any case of hazardous situation to the Top management or QSE representative. • Engage in the QHSE system by organizing all mandatory training and awareness • Propose and carry out improvement, corrective and/or preventive actions.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any chemical /Mechanical engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of cement production process amp; Alternative fuels usage
• Good knowledge all environmental amp; chemical engineering calculations
• Good relationship management and communication skills
• Good level of technical skills especially in the field of ore processing and process control
• Good knowledge of product quality parameters and quality control
• Good Leadership, supervisory skills.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and MIS.
• In-depth knowledge of local and DCC approved QHSE policies and norms
