- Provide ongoing mechanical engineering support on maintenance, repair and services of mechanical equipment, instruments and structures used within assigned area of the plant to ensure equipment performance, reliability, HSE and plant optimization;

Key Duties and responsabilities / Activités clés et responsabilités

- Perform checks based on mechanical maintenance plan atestablished intervals on any machinery, equipment of DCC Plant;
- Develop, implement and maintain an effective program of equipment and preventive maintenance work in all DCC productions sections (Kiln/Coal/Cement/Raw/Mills/Crusher/Material handling) sections;
- Perform equipment inspections to ensure that the equipment is safely maintained and operable;
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner aiming for maximum reliability;
- Ensure that any inconsistencies are further investigated and problems are pinpointed exactly;
- Inspect running machinery, conveyor belts and run diagnostic tests to discover functionalitu issues;
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to plant equipments;
- Keep logs of work and make service report on issues resolved at plant, sections or mechanical workshop;
- Perform Thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and engine components by cleaning, replenishing fluids and applying lubricants to them;
- Provide professional assistance to expatriate mechanics during all kinds of services related jobs;
- Ensure availabiliy of parts and supplies by assessing jobs and determining parts that are needed for the job;
- Ensure all tools provided in assigned tool box is complete and kept clean at all times;
- Observe all health and safety regulations in accordance with DCC QHSE policies and manuals;
- Perform all work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety and environment regulations
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with provided instructions;
- Maintain records on equipment histories and costs, coordinates with Senior Engineers for needed changes toward increasing reliability;
- Diagnose root cause and specify method of repair for plant equipment;
- Document project and technical work by setting up necessary files and preparing appropriate records and reports;
- Ensure to maintain planning of manpower allocation and maintain the spare parts stocks, consumption and procurement planning amp; requisition;
- Exposure on SAP, Aware of Inspection. Aware of Safety Interlocks/Machine Interlocks, Belt jointing
- Contribute to the overall performance of the service by executing its target objectives;
- Conduct its performance evaluation (PMS Evaluation Mi and end course);
- Attend training to build skills;
- Perform any other duties assigned by the section heads from time to time;
QSE Responsibilities
- Know and fully apply DCC's API, IMS, HSSE requirements, policies, procedures.
- Take care of his own health and safety in the workplace and ensure that acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other people.
- Take appropriate measures to minimize risks to quality, health and the environment.
- Communicate any case of hazardous situation to the Top management or QSE representative.
- Engage in the QHSE system by organizing/participating to all mandatory training and awareness
- Propose and carry out improvement, corrective and/or preventive actions.
