withonClient'sreporting,the completed providing,,We are looking for a driven Site Manager to coordinate and oversee the assigned location operations that will include warehousing and bakery operations for our food rations operations. The Site Manager role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the location. The specific duties of an Operations Manager include overseeing the warehouse's daily activities, including deliveries (in/out), stock control, inventory management, and bakery production. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase the quality of customer service, and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient, and profitable during the course of the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Warehouse, Maintenance, Bakery, and other teams in the site to ensure that all aspects of the site operations are running smoothly and delivering to the expected outcomes/ targets
- Collaborate with warehouse and maintenance team daily to access challenges and issues encountered within the day, discussed possible implementation of proposed resolutions
- Communicate regularly with the management and administrative team to optimize the management of financial and administrative functions within the operation and contract requirements
- Evaluate operational site reports to track the areas and procedures that require improvements and modifications
- Ensure that the staff are receiving the relevant training as required
- Conduct monthly planning and performance meetings with staff
- Act as Security Manager in each of the operations and ensure that the company’s security procedure and the employee security guidelines are fully implemented, reviewed, and updated on a quarterly basis
- Ensure compliance with security procedures listed in the Client’s Quality Plan in regard to report to the Client's Security Officer within the sector.
- Ensure that all daily operations are following the guidelines for filing as per the QMS procedures.
- Ensure that all administrate functions and reports (Weekly, Monthly, and periodically) are complete in line with reporting schedule in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate with the Client Management Team for all issues relating to the project operations and in accordance with the client’s reporting requirements.
- Support, propose, and coordinate solutions to resolve both contractual and operational issues, with the Project Manager for all non-government and government agencies.
- Implement the GCCS performance management process by setting KPI’s for direct reports, conducting regular reviews, identifying training requirements and provide a coaching, mentoring and supportive role.
- Report health amp; safety, environmental, and food safety hazards and near miss/incident observed in the workplace to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- To follow, apply and maintain all applicable ISO standards and requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's related to Management or Supply Chain or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience with Product Supply, Operations, Procurement, Sourcing FMCG, contract logistics, and similar operations
- Good Food Safety and Occupational Health amp; Safety knowledge
- Very good knowledge of MS Office. Knowledgeable of WMS preferred
- Knowledge of Food Safety, FSMS, HACCP, Occupational Health amp; Safety
- MS Office - Intermediate
- English language (written amp; verbal) - fluent
- French language (written amp; verbal) - desirable
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership capability
- Very good organizational and project management skills
