Summary

Research, Evidence amp; Learning Officer, working under the supervision of the Mamp;E Manager and in collaboration with Global Technical Team (GTT) staff, will play a key role in the development and implementation of the VillageReach DRC Mamp;E strategy and supporting Ministry of Health (MoH) programs in data management. The Research, Evidence amp; Learning Officer is expected to demonstrate experience in data collection, management, cleaning, analysis and reporting and be motivated by VillageReach’s mission of health care reaching everyone.


Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time.

  • Working closely with the Ministry of Health (MoH) programs to improve data collection, cleaning, analysis, sharing and storage.
  • Support the development and submission of research protocols in coordination with partner and VillageReach colleagues including finalization of qualitative and participatory data collection methodologies, sampling strategies and data collection tools.
  • Contribute to descriptive/standard data analysis, data visualizations and reporting.
  • Support DRC solutions and program teams in data use for decision-making.
  • Support routine maintenance of data analytics processes and systems.
  • Support and ensure the effective involvement of all partners (government, technical partners, etc.) in the implementation of data analytics and visualization solutions
  • Contribute to project progress updates and reports involving data.
  • Support VillageReach DRC colleagues to facilitate knowledge management and collaboration among global and country staff including developing, documenting, and disseminating lessons learned from the data and results of program implementation, evaluations and research studies.
  • Support key performance indicators (KPI) reporting from all VillageReach DRC programs.
  • Support the team by contributing to the Mamp;E and data sections of proposals and presentations for new business development opportunities.
